Nazi; Hitler's moustache; milkman; kumquat; Jaffa Cakes; Aborigines; mod cows; sheep; and haemoglobin.
This is what I wrote.
One Strange Morning in 1939
I marched down the streets of Berlin, delivering milk. I was a loyal Nazi milkman. As a sign of my loyalty I had even styled my moustache in the same way as Hitler's moustache. That morning, I was feeling good, and was ahead of schedule, so decided to stop at a grocer's and buy a kumquat. Suddenly I heard an almighty crash behind me, and I dropped my half-eaten kumquat in fright. It rolled away, abandoned.
When the dust cleared, I saw the outline of what appeared to be a gigantic metal cow wearing a suit. Two men emerged, one coughing violently. The other held a small blue and orange box, and said:
"Ah, I love the smell of Europe in the morning." AT this, he opened the box and began munching on the strange-looking biscuits inside. "Especially when I have Jaffa Cakes."
The second, an Aborigine finally stopped coughing and said "You idiot!" He coughed again. "You crashed the Mod Cow 3000! Now how are we supposed to go home, huh?!"
The American man took no notice of him, and turned to me."Hello there. I'm a loyal Nazi soldier. Sheep or cows?"
I was frozen dead still with shock, unable to say or do anything. Eventually, I mouthed 'cows'.
"That's too bad."
He fired a laser at me and suddenly I could feel all my strength draining away. I fell to my knees hyperventilating, but nothing seemed to make the weakness go away.
"This laser erases all of your haemoglobin. Don't worry. At least it'll be quick."
They walked away as my vision faded to black.
